Objo Studio is free to download. Write code, test and debug your projects as long as you like - no license required.
Buy when you are ready to profile or ship
When you want to profile performance or build and publish your app, purchase an annual license for £99. One license covers desktop, web and command line apps on macOS, Windows and Linux.
Keep what you have paid for
Your license lasts 12 months. Every version of Objo Studio released during that time is yours to use forever - even after the license expires.
Renew on your terms
There are no automatic charges. When a new version has features you want, renew for another year. No pressure, no surprises.
Frequently asked questions
Do web apps need a separate license?
No. Web publishing is included in the same Objo Studio license as desktop and command line builds.
Can I try web apps for free?
Yes. Create Web projects, design responsive pages, run them in your local browser and debug their server-side code for free. Publishing the server executable requires a license. Web project unit tests and remote debugging are not currently supported.
Is web hosting included?
You choose and manage your own hosting. Publish creates a self-contained server executable; run it on a suitable computer or hosting provider and configure HTTPS, restarts and storage for your application.
What can I do without a license?
Everything except profiling, building and publishing. You can write code, design interfaces, test and debug your projects for as long as you like. A license is only required when you want to analyse performance, compile or ship your app.
What happens when my license expires?
You keep full access to every version of Objo Studio released during your license period. You can continue to profile, build and publish apps with those versions indefinitely. You just will not receive new updates until you renew.
Is the license per-user or per-machine?
Per-user. One license lets you use Objo Studio on up to 3 of your personal machines at the same time.
How does the education programme work?
Primary and secondary schools can use Objo Studio for free on any platform. Contact us and we will get you set up.
Do you offer team or volume discounts?
Not yet, but we plan to offer team pricing in the future. Get in touch if you have specific needs.
